Our Rose Festival is On!

This week our Rose Festival kicked off! 

Roses have an extremely long and colourful history. These beautiful flowers have have been symbols of love, beauty, war, and politics. According to archaeological evidence and fossils the rose is 35 million years old.

It’s Latin name goes by the genus Rosa and has approximately 150 species spread throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
