UpCountry Garden Centre & Bakehouse raise £673.00 for Chailey Heritage School
The UpCountry Garden Centre and Bakehouse held their Christmas Festive Weekend and raised funds for the Chailey Heritage School. There was fantastic support from the local community with hundreds of families coming in to enjoy the amazing atmosphere and all the magical Christmas activities.
Throughout the weekend there was Christmas fun for the whole family from walking through the Christmas Tree Forest, finding the perfect tree and viewing a wonderful Christmas display of lights, gifts & decorations.
The was a very special visitor and huge excitement as Father Christmas visited the Garden Centre direct from the North Pole in the Santa Express Train, although a very busy time of year, Father Christmas entertained over 200 children with stories about the elves and reindeer back at the North Pole. All the children received a special presents for being on Santa good list and have promised to leave out carrots, milk and mince pies on Christmas Eve,for Father Christmas and Rudolph and all the reindeer.
The local choir sang Christmas carols which created wonderful Christmas feeling throughout the whole garden centre & bakehouse and there was a delicious range of tasty Christmas treats from local producers for everyone to enjoy.
