What to expect from Upcountry this Spring:
Gardening
Spring is now approaching such an exciting time of the year, not only for the beautiful blooms of the flowers you planted but for the longer days and warmer weather!
As I’m sure you already know, it’s time to start planting your spring bulbs, although this should have already been started, it’s still not too late. Check out our other blog on how to care and plants your spring bulbs to get the best results.
You also need to be aware of how to care for your garden during spring so i’m going to give you some top tips!
- Make sure to constantly tidy up flower beds and borders!
- Remove garden pests
- Invest in a water butt to collect rainwater for watering!
- Clean gardening tools to make sure you don’t spread disease between plants
We have now received our spring range!
This includes rhododendrons and azaleas which are great to add some colour to your garden in the months of march to may, and they can be planted in the ground or in a container depending on your preference! We advise you use Ericaceous compost too for the best results!u
Our roses are now in stock too! They won’t be in full bloom yet but this is the perfect time to planting them, use rose and shrub compost for best results!
Herbs are also a great addition to your garden and can be planted straight away!

ry we now have a Italian plant range, we have many different varieties of beautiful smelling rosemary and fantastic olive trees whether you would like a small one or one to make an impact we have them all!
We also have our spring/summer range of furniture in, perfect for garden parties, barbecues, or even just a 2 seater for you and your hubby to enjoy the sun!
Upcountry Fresh:
Our farm shop has had a magnificent chage around and we now have more variety, including new wines and beers and so much more local produce you don’t want to miss out on! We have exciting plans for Easter too!

We have exciting renovations now happening at our other Upcountry in Stone Cross, make sure to come and check us out as soon as it’s possible for you!
Bakehouse
Sticking to government regulations we may be able to re open our coffee shop a lot sooner than you think, keep your eyes peeled for our reopening date!
